"Baby,babe,hun?"

I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years and I've never called him "baby,babe,hun, hunny," etc. in person. I've only called him these things over text, I think I'm just too shy. But I want to! Because he said he'd like those things..Does anyone else have this problem, had it, I just wanna over come this worry of it. I'm not sure why I worry so much about it.

I was the same way with my first boyfriend I would only do it over text but now with my husband I call him babe baby all types of name I guess I just felt comfortable

I had a similar but opposite thing a couple of days ago. I've been with my boyfriend for 7 months and we have said "I love you" in person. He started his new job on monday and I wanted to text him good luck and tell him I loved him. For some reason I got really nervous about writing it down of the first time!

It was crazy though and nothing bad happened. Just go for it! 😊

I've been with my boyfriend almost 4 years as well and I've only recently became comfortable calling him babe, he's always said those things to me and I've texted them but went shy to say it to his face. I started calling him babe and baby on the phone and it didn't feel to bad then one day it just came out and felt natural so I just went with it and he gave me a cheeky grin and kiss, since then it's became a regular name x
