pregnancy scare

My fiancé and I are trying to have a little one but it seems like every time I take a home test or get tested at the doctor it's Negative.   I'm not on birth control but I do take prenatal and nothing seems to work have been trying since the end of December.   Any advice would be appreciated please keep the negative comments out thanks
