embryo transfer at day 4?

So i had 14 eggs retrived 7 fertilised but by day 4 only 2 were left thats good so they put them back in me so now i have none to freeze and my eggs quality is good they said but if the 2 were left for day 5 wouldnt they of survived? Is that why they done a day 4 transfer ..? Any experience or advice
