I moved out of my dad's house and in with my boyfriend when I was 17 (a month from turning 18). There was a lot of tension and issues the 3 years I lived with my dad and it all caused me to resent him and his wife (who's not my mother). After I moved out, the entire paternal side of my family cut contact with me. Just recently I started talking to him again after over a year of no contact. I had done some thinking and I really wanted to be able to have contact with my 2 siblings that live with him. My boyfriend and I are still living together (going on 3 years now) and he has yet to meet my dad and such. My dad and grandpa have brought up wanting to meet my bf but I'm not sure how I feel about it. My bf isn't fond of my dad or other family members from my dad's side. I'm just looking for any kind of advice associated with this situation.
