Married too young?

Ok I'll try to keep this short and too the point. My bf and I are coming up on two years together. I love him very much and belive him to be an ideal partner for me. However, I'm 23 and I feel like I've gone from relationship to relationship and never spent time finding myself. I guess I'm just asking if anyone else has the same feeling.

I got married when I was 20. I had my associates under my belt and that was it. I was in love and still am in love with my husband!! And NO, I have not missed out on anything. It is important for you both to have things to do together, but also on your own! You can still grow once you get married!! You do NOT put your life on hold, unless you do it yourself! I am finishing my degree and we have ended up traveling all over the world together. You make things work, and you support one another's dreams! You learn and grow together as you go through trials and it's the best thing in the world. Don't get me wrong, marriage can be hard, but it does not stop a person from growing you have to put into it what you want,

I met my husband at 15 enjoyed our twenties travelling buying a house a car. We got married at 30 . I can honestly say if we had got married in our 20s and had babies we would not still be together. In our 20s we grew up learnt to trust each other did everything we wanted together and with our friends. We have been through challenges but got through them and out of all our friends who got married and had babies in their 20s we are the only ones still together. Marriage is a huge commitment enjoy your life together and marry when you feel is the right time . Xxx

It really all depends on how YOU feel about it. I married my high school sweetheart of 7 years at 21 years old and we were divorced in 2 months. Everyone sort of pushed us into marriage because we had been together so long, but were afraid to tell each other that we had grown apart. At first I was hung up on "omg I'm divorced at 21" but don't focus on age. Life is about experiences. If you are happy with what you have, then there's no need to change it or see what else is out there unless you really feel you're missing out on something good.

I'm 23 as well. I'm engaged and we are getting married in 8 months. I feel the same way, kind of. This is the first serious relationship I have been in and sometimes I wonder how it would feel to have lived on my own or traveled like I wanted to. But at the end of the day, I'm fine with my choice to marry him and put those dreams "on hold."

I know that our life together is going to be so exciting. We are going to have so many adventures together and make so many memories that I don't need my "wild 20-something years."

I don't think age really matters myself, but if you feel as tho you have life to live as a single lady, you need to do that before you get married

I think it depends on the both of you. I'm 20 and my husband is 23. I don't know a lot about marriage but just from being married 3 months I know it's so hard. Everyday I have to go against my own wants and do things for my husband. But he does the same for me. We have to both put the other person before our selves which was not how it was at all when we werent married. Somehow it works though. When im more concerned about him and he is more concerned about me we end up meeting eachothers needs.I'm excited that we are young and that we are growing up together. I know that no matter what we will always find a way to make things worse. I know that we will definitely change and grow and we are working sure that as we grow and mature into the people we are meant to be, that we also are taking the time to nourish our marriage and not grow apart.  Divorce is not a word either of us would ever use. I'm glad that I am married. I am married to my absolute best friend. And yeah he gets on my nerves sometimes and we have our fights but we are in it together and I wouldn't want to do life with anyone else.

I have benn withy hubby since I was 15.... I got married at 23.... ( together for 12 yrs married almost 4) We have grown up and found ourselves together... I think that makes our relationship stronger. I don't feel like I've missed out on anything

It depends on you two and if you two want the same things. I met my husband when I was 17 and he was 20. We dated for 5 years before we got married. ( I went away to college) I was 22. We are still happily married for almost 12 years now.  Marriage is not easy, but we stick together and make things work.

My parents started dating when mom was 15 and dad was 20. They were malt in love when they were young and got married when she was 21 and pregnant with me. They've had 4 children and have been married for 24 years. The last 5ish years have been rocky for them. My mom feels like she gave up her dreams to be a wife and mother. I think if she could go back and do it over they wouldn't have stayed together.

I started dating my now husband when I was 15 he was 20. I got married I month later I turned 18. Almost 10 years and we are happily married and many more anniversaries together! There was times I thought did we rush into marriage but then I try to imagine my life and I can't picture it without him. I think that when you have found your soulmate age doesn't matter!
