will I be able to hear the heartbeat?

My sister bought me a thing I can put on my stomach so I can hear the baby's heartbeat . I'm 8 weeks and my doctor wouldn't let me hear the heart beat or see the baby until I'm 12 weeks. Will I be able to hear the baby with the Doppler ?

I was after 11 weeks before I finally found the babies heartbeat and I still sometime have a hard time finding it

You can try .. I did find mines at 8.5 weeks

That early it's very unlikely you'd find the heartbeat, I didn't even pick up my daughters heartbeat at all on my home Doppler until after 11 weeks

I've never tried but from what I understand, it's possible though highly unlikely that early.
