when did you get your first period after miscarriage

I miscarried about a week ago and wondering when you should expect to get your period again. I have PCOS and I'm hopping that it won't mess everything up.

I had mine at 5 weeks about a year and a half ago. I forgot to ask the doctor this question so I googled it and everything I found said it can take 7-8 weeks after the bleeding stops. For me it was 7 weeks. So somewhere in the range seems to be the norm. I'm sorry for your loss.

I miscarried March 5th at 27,000+ HCG in my body (9 weeks) and started my period on April 7th!

Your hcg levels have to be back to normal before you ovulate and get your period. I'm on week 3 after mc and my hcg levels are still elevated, so I'm looking at another 3-4 weeks probably before I get my period... 😞

I miscarried at 11 weeks and bleeding lasted two weeks. Two weeks after bleeding stopped, period started. I was surprised how soon it was but ob said its normal.  I was hoping id get pregnant again before getting stupid period.
