I'd say no... I think if a teen wants a kid, they're going to want a kid regardless. 
I think it's more likely that the teen parent shows would show other teens how tough it is. I'm 17 and haven't actually seen any teen mum type shows, so I'm not 100%, but that's how I see it.
If a 15 year old girl is dumb enough to get pregnant, I wouldn't just blame a tv show for it, I would blame the individual teen.

Some teens might think ooo if i get pregnant i might end up on tv so they may see it as a cool thing to do. With me it didn't influence me i was still just playing te sims 3 24/7. But i dont the show influences every girl. Just some maybe 😊

Numbers of teen pregnancy have gone down just since the last generation. The difference is that it's out in the open instead of being bused away to the "mommy school" that my grandmother went to.

I don't know if it convinces teens to go out and get pregnant but I think it glorifies it.

I think some believe they should bc they may become famous and only see the lime light they put them in. But others see the struggle that comes with it and see what they are trying to portray. So I think it's a mix up between the two

I think maybe some think they will get on TV. But I think the vast majority of teen pregnancy are just accidents and was not influenced by a TV show. The girls on 16 and pregnant don't make much money off it. The teen moms have a ton of money but just by watching none of them seem happy. At least it's brought the topic out in the open and some girls have said that's how they learned about birth control. Even in 2015 some parents just don't want to talk about sex.

I went to high school with a girl who got pregnant so she could be on the show.. Yes the show emphasizes the negativity of having a baby at 16 but it also gives some girls the wrong conclusions.
