Step moms

How do you all deal with mother's day? I have never really been acknowledged as being a mother even though i have been to my step child for close to a decade now. I do more than her own mother. I just get down because im never acknowledged for what i do but her step father(ex husband) gets that and we have been in the childs life the same amount of time and do the same amount of work as my SO(can't include mom because she practically non existent until she wants to be meaning 2 days a month if that).
