I thought this thing was the best invention ever. Works 10 times better than a bulb and is super helpful for congested little ones. However, this week is the third time in my almost 7 month old's life that my daughter has a had a cold. Every time she gets sick, I get sick. It never occured to me, and it clearly never occured to whoever invented it that by inhaling to suck the mucus out of your child's nose, you are literally inhaling the germs from your baby's nose!!! No wonder my throat is killing me every time my child is sick. A foam filter will stop the mucus but it will NOT stop the germs. Just a heads up. (& yes I change the filter and boil the parts. Still ended up sick every time)
