late period ???

I recently got the paraguard iud two months ago and my period is two days late. I've been spotting what looks like old blood but only enough to use a pantyliner. Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Exactly its just the hormones i had the IUD and period was delayed for sometime after inserted read your pamphlet explains alot some ppl dont have a mens at all i did every month
