Is it okay if I rant? I'm gonna rant.

So my husband is in the military. We've been married 4 years. He left for a training op a week ago and since he's been gone, we hardly talk. Edit: i should add, this isn't a normal training op. He's in a tropical location and they only work a few hours a day and have the rest off to explore the town and have fun. Literally. For 3 weeks. He promised he'd call me every single night... yeah, he's called me twice and one didn't really count because the call dropped right away and he didn't bother calling back. I'll go hours without hearing from him only to get "sorry gotta go to bed talk to you tomorrow" and then his phone is off.

Oh and these past few days he's been saying his phone is dying so he can't check it or that the charging port is broken (which magically starts working again the next day) and when I tell him to bring a charger, he then says the battery drops from 50% to 5% in less than 30 minutes.

Are you also smelling the b.s.? 🙄

As if that's not enough, he wants me to feel bad for him because he's been out late every single night getting drunk to the point of puking and maxing out his credit card. I've been living off ramen this past week due to being broke from his poor spending habits and he's eating sushi with the guys.

But it's okay. He's enjoying himself, and that's all that matters. 🙃
