How would you feel?

Today was my fiances nephews confirmation..afterwards we went to celebrate at his brothers house. I needed to change my 5 month old sons diaper and it was #2 so we asked for privacy his brother said oh no change him right here on the couch (in front of everybody) so we tried to discretely change him. His brothers new wife and her mother came over to the each end of the couch and literally hawked over me watching me change my son..when I was finished they went into a different room. Does anyone find that a little odd? Idk when someone is changing their baby I look the other way.
