how long is it before it's ok to like someone?

So I've been seeing this guy for about a week now, not long at all I know. 
But in this time it's been so lovely. 
We do like each other and hope for something to come out of it.. 
we talk everyday and have met up a lot and I stayed over his and he took me out for dinner.. 
I was just wondering.. can you really put a time on how long it takes for you to be able to say you actually really like someone?

The first night me and my SO hung out I really started to dig him. It wasn't a romantic setting we went out with another coworker, she had eyes for him too. Well we clicked and had some serious intellectual chemistry. He went to the bathroom and she took off, she said "I'm leaving you two are clearly all about each other" ... she was his ride there. So I ended up dropping him off. When he was getting out of my car I said alright see you at work on Monday. He goes to get out, then thinks better of it and grabs me by the hair and pulls me in for a kiss, then leaves. As soon he was out of my car I was like "damn! I'm crushing HARD!" ... after that night we were inseparable.

I knew I liked my husband and wanted more of him almost instantly. My best friend was with me for our first interaction, after giving now hubbs my number my bff and I were in the car and I looked at her and said "that guy is going to be my next boyfriend!" She laughed it off and happily used that in her maid of honor speech at our wedding :)

I think you know almost instantly! the first time I met my fiancé I knew I Liked him... I knew I could fall in love with him... the second time we met, he came to my house... and never went home! Three years down the line we've never been happier engaged and pregnant xx
