don't feel like announcing?

does anyone else feel the same way? I just don't feel like telling anyone the news, we've only told my two best friends but as for family and other friends we're just like meh. Just thinking about them knowing gives me anxiety. Am I going crazy? I am currently 10 weeks

I technically still haven't announced. My family know from word or mouth and my coworkers kniw because it changes the roles I can do. I'm 31 weeks and don't plan on announcing publically until shes born.

If you don't feel comfortable telling anyone, for whatever reason, then don't. You don't need that kind of stress, especially now.

When I announced my baby everyone gave me shit. My father called me a whore. My hubs mom said it wasn't his. And his friends basically called me a money using pos.  So I will never announce another child. The tears were not worth it the unnecessary stress is not worth it!

I was so excited to announce my pregnancy but with how people have reacted (mainly my boyfriends family) I'm not sure I'll announce another one when it happens.

I do not have a great relationship with my family. I shared with them because we only see each other ever few months so I didn't want to show up randomly being huge haha. You don't have to make a big show of it, I just kind of casually talk about it. On facebook I don't mention it, but I dont not mention it(if that makes sense). So I'll make comments about it, but I didn't have a big announcement.

I felt exactly the same way, I didn't want to tell anyone even though we wanted and planned the baby and I knew people would be happy and excited. We ended up telling people at 12 weeks only

I completely understand! My sister and best friend know. I just feel like my parents have a lot going on right now and I don't want them to take on the stress or anxiety of me having a baby😕 but good luck to you! Hopefully we both figure something out haha ❤️

I didn't tell anyone but close friends, and then I fell out with one for a while over me being pregnant and she went and told my other friends (5 of them) who I don't really hold as close about it and it upset me because I wasn't the one to tell them.
I announced the whole birth thing though the day after he was born and people were so surprised I loved it hahaha

Do you not think your family would approve of your pregnancy? Most people tell family before friends, so I'm not sure why you have anxiety about sharing good news with your family?
