Boyfriend had too long nails, cut my clit and inside me

We have been working opposite schedules and he's been very stressed so we haven't had sex as much as we had been, I noticed this morning after sex last night I have a cut inside my clit hood and the opening of my vagina really hurts and I've used a baby wipe to see if it was just dry and there's blood. I asked him to cut his nails, but can I use neosporin on my labia? I won't try to put it inside but what can I do to help with irritation?
