sex at an early time?

hi! so I've been dating my boyfriend for a month, and we've been talking about sex here and there and we both want to do it... (we're both 16) I've read a lot of stories and it says that they've waited about a year or two and I feel like I'm ready now and so is he.... should we do it now or is it too early in the relationship?

I would wait. Rushing a relationship usually leads to a bad end. Take this time to really get to know eachother and decide if this is truly someone you want to share your body with. You won't lose anything by waiting. Especially if this will be your first time.

It depends how you feel about it...if you have any doubt then don't do it! I was 15 (nearly 16) losing mine and 3 years later I'm still with the same person, so it all depends do you see sex as a big commitment thing or if it's not that big of a deal just a natural thing. Where I'm from you're legally allowed to have sex and it's your choice now, if you're not 100% sure you want to do it then don't do it please, in some way I wish I'd waiting a little longer but I'm not going to lie, I can't really remember my 1st time anyway😂

Hello, so
I grew up thinking I wanted to wait until marriage. I found people attractive, I could fantasize about things, but I never wanted to DO anything with them. And then I met my boyfriend. Good lord. I told him so many times I wanted to wait and then after a month I was like "so maybe we don't have to wait?" And the day we said I love you for the first time (two months and four days into dating) we lost our virginites to eachother. A lot of people thought that was too fast, but we felt ready. We're still together, have been for a year and half. However. I was 20 when this happened so my head was in a very different place.

If this is something you feel ready for make sure you're prepared and you two have had an adult conversation about what will happen if you get pregnant, or who is buying condoms, and will you be on birth control, and why you want to do this. Is it to feel closer, or to just do it? Or is it because it just feels right. 
The choice is up to you in the end, it is fast, especially given how young you are. But if you feel like the two of you are in a place where it makes sense and are on the same page about consequences, and safety, and your relationship as a whole than do it.
