Can dogs sense when their owner is pregnant? Lately I've been really sick. Throwing up at foods that normally don't give me any problems and I've been acting "weird" according to my boyfriend. So much to the point he wanted me to take a pregnancy test last week. I told him that at the time it was to soon and the test would be negative. I did it any way to make him feel better and I was right. But this week my dog started getting really protective of my stomach. He starts whimpering if he sees my boyfriend touch my stomach and he lays on my stomach now when we watch tv (normally he lays on the opposite end of the couch from me or lays by my feet.) Can he tell if I'm pregnant or not?
