I have a cold. Any meds I can take?

I have a cold and recently started a new job. I know adding stress on top of stress but need something for the cold headaches and backaches. And something to decongest me so I actually get rest and heal. I've been told Tylenol is ok. Not ibuprofen. Anything else?

I have a cold too so I've been taking half a Benadryl and a Tylenol twice a day. It's helping a little. just trying to drink as much fluids as possible too.

So sorry you're not feeling well. I am getting over one myself. For non-medicated relievers try humidifiers/steam, nasal rinses, warm/hot fluids like soups and chamomile tea. Lemon and honey in warm water works too. Get well soon!!

My doctor let me take Sudafed PE (specifically "PE") during my second trimester for an awful sinus infection because it lacks a certain ingredient (begins with "pseu"...?) that could be dangerous. But it's best to check with your doc obviously 😉

Anything with acetaminophen in it is perfectly fine.
I just took Tylonel when I felt under the weather. But there are other brands out there that can help as well

I was told by my OB an the clinic Dr I could take tylenol cold but it only helps me with the cough suppresant and the headache and fever part I needed antibiotics cuz I got a respiratory infection as well from having bronchitis, so I needed the antibiotics and to also use my inhaler which is a class c drug but I needed it cuz it's the only one that's ever worked for me, and my OB sai it was okay since I only use it when I'm sick now.

It all depends how far along you are. There really is not much you can take in first trimester. As long as you are past your first then you can take the meds that are on the list that was posted.
