Confused help please! OPK am I doing something wrong or what?

Clear blue opk has had blinking smiley for 7 days now. (High fertility)

Took a E.P.T opk and there's only a line in the control now in the test states that I have no levels.

There must be something wrong, what's going on?

Believe me, I'm right there with you. This is my first month using an OPK and I got 8 flashing smileys before I got my solid smiley last Wednesday. I was so freaking happy when I got that- and then I started with some ovulation bleeding the same day before I could even BD with my hubby again. So I would suggest you still BD every other day during this confusing time!! That's what we managed to do during that insanely long "fertile window" so I'll let you know how my journey turns out! Baby dust! 🌠

This last month i got 10 high fertility (blinking smiley) and i finally quit testing when i called the help line they said that if i got over 9 to quit testing i wouldn't get a peak day and that the first month the reader is adapting to you individually. So it might miss the peak days but will show the high fertility until you start testing your next cycle. Not the best advice i know but i hope it helps. It is not only you. I hate it and if i would have known i probably would have done just a standard opk. Good luck to you.

Usually it's because your body was getting ready to ovulate but didn't.

Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you'll get a positive on the EPT OPK until the LH surge actually happens; the LH surge is the same thing that makes the solid smiley. The flashing smileys are noting the increase in estrogen which is needed to help ready the egg to be released.
