I've been trying for awhile now and listening and reading about everyone's stories is it better to check your temp or use the test strips to find out when you ovulating

I would say the ovulation strips  I tried doing temperature and it was confusing and my temperatures were all crazy.. I'm using the ovulation sticks and their so easy to use and seem to be right on schedule.. this is our second month trying with the strips

The ovulation strips predict when you're body is gearing up to ovulate. If you hands irregular cycles or are coming off of birth control you can get multiple positive opks in one cycle but not actually ovulate. Only the rise in bbt can tell you whether you actually ovulated. I plan on using both next cycle.
