So I've been reminding Hubby about Mother's day for a while since he is notorious for forgetting celebrations. He insisted it'll be a good day for me.

Well being on a tight budget he was going to go shopping on Saturday when he got paid....just his luck his boss didn't pay him.

I know it's not his fault...but I can't help but feel disappointed that there won't be a gift. I know it sound petty and superficial...but it's my first Mother's day, a gift to always remember would have been nice.

Hubby is super apologetic and says he'll buy something on Monday...but I can't help but cry!

Ugh I feel so bad for Hubby but can't help my own feelings 😔
