Newborn and FTM questions..

Christine
My baby girl, Dylann was born on the 7th of May at 39 weeks. For the first few days I was waking her every two/three hours to feed her. Then I had multiple people tell me that it was ok to just let her sleep, that she will wake up and cry when she is hungry. So I stopped waking her up these past few nights. The first night she went 6 hours without waking! It surprised me.. 2nd night she slept like 4 consecutive before waking. But now all day today and tonight (it's 5am here) she has been waking up every hour.. So I've been feeding her every hour. She eats quite a bit too. Sometimes she'll nurse for 20 mins and other times it'll be an hour.. So my question is, am I going to mess her up by feeding every hour? Like is she going to make a habit out of it? I was thinking maybe it's just a growth spurt... She has been peeing and/or popping almost every hour as well today. Which I feel like is a lot for her age. I don't go to the pediatrician for 11 more days so I figured I'd ask her what y'all thought about all this. Also I had a c-section, is it normal that my legs and feet are extremely swollen? I never swelled at all during my pregnancy.. And how important is it that I wear that tummy band that the hospital gave me? I try to wear it everyday but I always end up taking it off because it makes my incision area hurt really bad. I get a strong sharp pain and a burning feeling on the right side if my incision. It's so strong that it'll stop me in my tracks and I can't move for a few minutes. It gets to the point where every move I make the pain happens. So I end up taking the wrap off. Once it's off, the pain happens still but not near as often. More like once an hour, if that, depending on what I'm doing. Sorry this is so long!! Any advice welcome!!
