Gender Announcement! Long Post, btw

Maddy
I'm currently 16+3 and we went May 5th to find out the gender of our rainbow baby. I was 87.4% positive it was a boy, but according to most of the old wives tales and talking to friends who had or are having girls, I was thinking I might be having a girl. This may make me sound bad, but I really didn't want a girl, they're dramatic expensive, and I'm not good at being a girl. I don't know how I'm supposed to teach someone else how to be, I know I'd do fine, but it's one of those things. As long as it was healthy, I'd be happy and would love our little peanut with all I had. We were doing the gender scan and about 4 seconds into it, she said, "oh, wow. That's definitely a boy!" He had moved and it was standing straight up. The whole time he was sucking his thumb and playing with his thing. I was smiling from ear to ear through the whole appointment and the whole way home. My parents and fiance were absolutely thrilled and that makes me so incredibly happy!
