My SO and I ha e been together since September 2014. We have two little girls together then I have an older son who is 6. His father left when I was 3mths pregnant so he doesn't have a Dad. He calls my SO Dad. Anyways my SO bought a picture Frame that held 19 pictures and he put 7 in there of his nephew 5 of each of our girls and two of our girls together. None of my Son. I'm hurt and mad. My son asked me why there were no pictures of him in it and I had no clue what to tell him. My heart broke in that moment. I understand that my sons not a biological grandchild but his moms husband isn't my kids biological grandfather yet we don't treat him any different. My SO's mom even called him out on it. My parents are extremely upset. His excuse was cuz his mom has mixed emothions about it. We aren't married, but it's not like we have a bad relationship now, we went through a rocky patch around a year ago, but have been pretty solid the last 8months. I just wish my son was more included and I don't know how to bring it up without him getting upset or feeling some sort of way 😔
