burping after BF?

Do you burp your baby after breastfeeding ? Mine is a month old and she just learned how to latch (she drinks mostly from my right bc she hates my left for some reason) she gets full but falls asleep after her feeding .. idk if I should wake her to burp her or not..

Definitely burp baby. Newborns fall asleep so easily if they wake up they will fall asleep again pretty quickly.

My baby does the same thing. If he's had a reasonably large feed, I gently put him upright against my chest/shoulder & pat his back gently. It doesn't really wake him up, but I've found that if I don't do that & get burps out, he often wakes up uncomfortable, angry, & sooner than he would've because of the trapped air. If he only nursed a little, I may not bother.
