Blood tests

I had the first part of the blood test done for the Down Syndrome check, can they tell me the babys gender by that test? They never mentioned it at the appointment but now I'm reading you can find out that way? I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow and go back for the second part of the test in 4 weeks.
