Have sex the day your ovulating. Male (y) sperms are faster but they die faster too, while female (x) is slower but lives longer. Don't know if this makes sense, but learned it in biology class.

There's no solid garuntee for getting a boy other than artificial insemination -- and don't be surprised if you get a lot of flack for posting this because many women are desperate for just one baby and don't care the gender.

That being said, there's some old wives tales that have been passed down claiming to heighten your chances of conceiving a boy. Male sperm tends to die faster than female sperm in a woman's body, but also swims faster than female sperm. It is rumored that if a male ejaculates super close to the cervix (as deep as he possibly can go) it'll give a better chance for the male sperm to get a jumpstart to outrun the female sperm. There's also a tale claiming that male sperm don't do too well in the heat, so have your S/O walk around without pants or underwear on for 30 mins before you have sex, then either do it on the counter or somewhere where his boys have room to breathe and plenty of air flow. If the get all hot and sweaty in the humid throes of sex, it'll slow the male sperm down.

Please remember these are all wives tales and have no medical evidence backing them, but have fun ttc and every baby male or female is a wonderful gift. I wanted a boy first but I had a little girl and I wouldn't trade her for the world. I'd be thrilled if I had all girls, they're so precious.😊

If you do egg retrieval you can have the genders of all the embryos tested first. Quite expensive though. I think they can also "spin" the sperm to separate genders but it isn't 100%
