freaking out 8 weeks

Ok I'm 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow, this is my 2nd pregnancy. On Saturday I had very very little brown discharge and didn't think much of it, today I woke up from my nap (I work nights) at about 3 I had some more brown discharge and not it has turned it to bright red blood still very light. I already called the doctor they didn't seem to worry, and said callback in the morning. It's now been 5 hrs since my nap and it seems the bleed has gotten bright but not very heavy at all. Anyways I'm freaking out because I didn't have this my 1st pregnancy, I have no cramping, but I'm debating if I should just go to the ER at work or just wait till morning. Anybody else lightly bleed at 8 weeks
