ttc #1- light periods

I am 37 ttc #1, I have super light periods some days flow is so light I don't even have to use a tampon or pad for 2-4 days. My doctor put me on progesterone to help thicken my lining. Anyone else have this issue. Af is depressing me each month. I curious if my light flow could be an issue.
