Never EWCM

So we've been ttc for 3 months, but only the past 2 have I been checking my CM. I see everywhere about EWCM and ovulation, but I've not gotten it. Right around my projected O date I get more (this month ALOT more) and it get slippery/water/semi stretchy (sorry tmi) but it's never clear, and it never looks like egg whites. I am super regular down to the day regular, but am I not ovulating? Can I still get oh without EWCM?
