Well my mother has been drinking ever since I was young and she gets drunk every night, well I'm pregnant with my first child, she has 3 other grandchildren that live in other states then us. Sometimes she goes to bed drunk and wakes up and started drinking again and I've had to deal with it almost my whole life and still am. Well when she gets drunk she likes to get on Facebook and text my fiancés family about off the wall stuff and stuff that makes her upset or that she don't agree with and does it a lot! And it embarrasses me, she comes to cook outs that are family's are at and she always has to get drunk at them. I'm very fed up with it, she won't get off her butt to get a job, she lives off my fathers SS check that she gets and most all of it goes to beer and cigarettes and my 2 sisters live with her. Well tonight my fiancé gets and call from his dad and tells us that my mother drunk texted his gf last night about how she don't feel involved with the baby shower and stuff. Well I texted her and told her that she needs to quit drinking, I told her that things need to change or I'm not bringing my baby around her. I don't want my child to be around it's grandma and all it knows of her is that she is a drunk.. now I dident say it in a mean way but she don't wanna change and you would think that this is the only grandchild she will see grow up that she would wanna change. Now she is all upset and crying and now my sister is pissed off at me, I had to grow up around it and also my father did drugs and I just want better for my child then what I had... Now am I wrong for doing this? Advice?
