Will losing weight help?

My story is me and my bf has been together 12 years. I have PCOS and a little obese. We have been really trying for over a year now although we rarely wore protection before starting to try. I had a miscarriage in November. I am on my third round of 50mg of clomid day three. I also take metformin. I seen the doctor today and if I don't conceive this time he is putting me on 150mg of clomid. Any suggestions?
