I feel like birthday parties are getting out of control in my family.. Growing up, we always had extended family birthday parties until age 18. We would invite grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and maybe have a separate party for "friends only." Well now, all my cousins are having kids, and my siblings and I are getting married and having kids, and we are expected to invite my cousins and all their kids. I love them all, but family parties for us could be up to 50 people ... Our house can barely host 20 comfortably. I'm curious what other people do.
