He keeps saying he has a secret and a surprise but then takes it back and says there's nothing !

I knew my SO was planning on proposing but I didn't know the exact moment it was going to happen. We had a trip to Chile planned in April, but I became pregnant so we canceled it (I didn't want to risk traveling through Zika countries and had already experienced a miscarriage). I knew he was going to propose during that trip, so once we canceled it I had no idea when it would happen. We just bought a new house, and when we first got the keys, I opened the front door and the entire entrance and living room was covered in flower petals, and that's when he did it! It was perfect and sweet! It made our house feel more like OUR home, even tho it was completely empty, it started that new journey in such a positive way.

I thought I was being sneaky planning his birthday dinner with a couple of our friends. We go out, have an amazing dinner, and right as dessert comes he excused himself and came back a few minutes later with a dozen roses. 
He says they're a thank you for such an amazing day, gives a little speech to all of us saying thank you. He asked me to grab his phone so we could take a picture together with the flowers. I turn to get his phone and I noticed his sister has his phone and is recording, and so is my best friend with her phone. I turn back to see what's going on and he is down on one knee with a beautiful ring!! 
It was amazing and I am apparently clueless. Hahaha.

We had discussed marriage and one evening he said he had to help his dad with something. When he got home I jokingly said, so did you pick out my ring tonight? His face said it all lol

We went up to our favorite spot to watch thunder and lighting storms and that overlooks our small town. We both LOVE it when it rains and love to watch it together. We were sitting in the car during one of the storms listening to music what the song "You and me" by lifehouse came on. We sang a little but of it together and he stopped and looked at me all goo goo eyed and pulled out the ring and asked. I knew he was going to because I had asked him if he was ever going to a million times since we had been together for 4 years lol. I just didn't expect it that night. 😊💞💍 We have now been married for 6 months.

We had a huge fight the day before he proposed 😂 he said "we need to talk" the day after and I was like okay, this is it. We are braking up and it's okay lol ... we went to a nice dinner and he kept ordering us shots and I was just like okay?? Like is he building the courage to brake up with me ? Lol we then headed to this beautiful city view next to the beach where we had our first date. I still had no idea that he was proposing. We sat as we watched the sunset and we always talked about marriage... so he was talking and talking about how amazing I am and  marriage and I thought it was just one those times that we just "talk" about things...  he reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring and I was like 😳 I didn't say anything lol he was like ... so is that a yes or a no? Lol I was like yes lol

I found champagne in the frig. We never drink champagne! I told him I didn't see it. I didn't want to take anything away from the moment and his surprise.

But then all day he was holding my hand strange (later found out he was carrying the box in his short pockets all day and was waiting for the right moment). Right moment happened on a beautiful beach <3
