pronouns

R.
What are some of your thoughts on this? I personally believe that out of respect for the person that is using non traditional pronouns that you should try to remember because it's what makes that person feel happier. What I don't agree with is when the people going by pronouns unheard of in everyday English (like Le, Ze and Xe) are getting mad at people for slipping up. I totally get if someone is being malicious and refusing to call someone by their preferred pronouns, but using this type of language would certainly take some getting use to. The only reason I bring this up is because I've seen so many fb arguments started over someone being a "bigot" for calling someone the wrong pronoun or even for someone assuming someone else's gender identity (even though cis people are the majority so it's usually safe to assume). Thoughts??
