Embryo Adoption?

Have any of you heard of it? 
It's basically when couples have left over frozen embryos from IVF and don't want to destroy them or keep storing them, they can donate them. Others can then 'adopt' them to use to conceive. The child is genetically the donor's, but the adoptive couple is the one to go through pregnancy and raise the baby as their own. 
Would you consider it, either as a donor or an adoptive parent? What are your thoughts on it?

It would be crazy to think that I had a baby out there I didn't know, but if I'm not using them I would donate.

I think it's called snowflake adoption. I looked into it a looooong time ago, I would be open to it, but I don't know if my husband would be super thrilled about it.

I think that'd be really cool. But, 
I'm more concerned about the actual living children to adopt 🤷‍♀️ 
They call it an embryo but it's more like a frozen zygote. It needs to be in the stage that would allow it to attach to a uterine wall. This is what would be up for adoption here. I'd rather go pick up a baby from the hospital that has been left there. I plan on doing that and I can't wait until im fully ready.

I think i would donate for a non profit or maybe for the cost of storage. 
But i would not want to know who it was donated to,  or for them to know me personally

Absolutely not in a million years. All my biological children will be raised by me or not raised at all.

I mean you have to pay to store them so if you have no need then why not donate them im sure it's tax deductible somehow
