This is a spin off from the post earlier about feeling it's "mandatory" to take your husbands name. My SO definitely doesn't care that I don't want to take his name, it's very common and I don't want to. He's very understand as to my reasons. However, he wants to take MY last name, which I feel like makes me look like I'm totally dominant over him (which I actually kind of am), but I don't want it to seem like I'm forcing him to take mine instead. I actually think it's a little strange, and I haven't heard of it too much, so I'm just not sure how I feel about it. His name sounds great with my last name, I just don't know.
