birth control/yeast infection

Does anyone else get yeast infections whenever you take birth control pills? I went on an oral contraceptive a lil over a year ago and got my first yeast infection a month after. Went off the pill for about 8 months and just started again a month ago and bam, just like the first time, another yeast infection a month in. Does this happen to anyone else? Maybe it's from hormones fluctuating, but I took the pill for three years straight when I was in college with no issues
