Scraping uterus to induce labor?

36 weeks. My Dr wants to induse labor this way.

I've always been indused by pitocin.

3 boys all pitocin. Went into labor with my first daughter and naturally and durning labor she lost air flow and passed away shortly after arriving.

I'm unsure how scraping works or how long it takes or is it safer. How long will it take for me to go into labor. I live 40 minutes from the hospital.

Will i go into labor at home? I feel unaware and hopeless at this point no knowledge about this.

Scares me.

Anything helps.
