Do you take your placebo pill? Please comment why or why not

I still take the week off birth control and have a period, I just don't take the sugar pill! Gives me a break from taking it everyday😊

I usually take one or two of the placebo pills just to get my period started and make me feel like I'm in control of it, then I'll throw the rest away and start taking the regular pills again next week. I feel like this seems to make my period lighter than when I take all the sugar pills, but that could be a placebo effect. Either way, it helps with my period and still prevents pregnancy, so I don't think it matters one way or another

I don't take all of the sugar pills, just one to jump-start my period and then it usually comes. For me, I tend to have heavier periods if I take all of the sugar pills instead of just letting the active ones wear off  (:

However, if this affects me getting pregnant, I'm not worried only because of the fact that I take BC for my period, and I'm only 15 anyways.

Yep because to me it feels unnatural when I skip my period and I feel as if there's something wrong with my body (there's no evidence that skipping a period on purpose is bad for you) I just feel this way for some reason
And it's also to just reassure me I'm not pregnant 😂

I never used to and would have extreme mood swings when starting my new pills up again, whether it's in my head or not it's been better since I started taking them lol
