Why oh why did I test so early??

Question

I need a virtual slap on the wrist ladies! I tested 7dpo and a week before AF is due. Negative! Wish I could channel my impatience effectively!

Maggie you are a gem, thanks for that link it's very informative. I KNEW it was silly to test so early, especially given that the odds of a BFP on any given month are pretty low. It's good to have read it in black and white. I consider myself suitably chastened- thanks everyone!

Imagine if u tested early every month, and it took say, 2 years ttc. That would cost me at least $240 in hpts. Is this a deterrent to anyone?! I hv been ttc for 6 months, now month 7, and always wait to AF to b late before I test. Blessings & patience! Xox

I also agree that it feels like it's not THE month when I test this early, but we still have time ! I worry that even though it's a good and exciting stress, that the stress might even prevent pregnancy. Silly worry but I'm just trying to enjoy the process and look forward to the morning. I am with you ! AF is due on the 27th and I've been testing the last 2 days even though Glow is telling me not to. I will be still testing every morning, I can't help it ! Plus it gets me up in the morning!

I feel you I do the exact same thing!!!  I've spent so much money on PT's! It's really hard not to get excited at any symptoms you may be having or just that "feeling" hang in there and good luck to you!!

Your not alone!! I did too! It's sooo depressing and even though we still have a chance on getting the BFP next week it just feels like I'm out of the running :(
