I get terrible cramps the day before my period and the first two days of my period. I've gone to my gyno and I do not want to be on birth control because my husband and I are trying to get pregnant, but the pain is so bad I miss two days of work a month. My doctor prescribed me tylenol with codeine to help with the pain on top of 800 mg of Advil every 8 hours. Is there anything else anyone does to help with the pain?
