When do they stop doing transvaginal ultrasounds and start doing them on your stomach ?

My first ultrasound when I was 7 weeks (before my first appointment) was abdominal. The ultrasound at my first appointment (almost 9 weeks) was vaginal.

Mine started at 8 weeks. They said as long as you have a nice full bladder there are no issues with doing an abdominal at that point. However it's very uncomfortable when they start pushing around your bladder lol
