Me and my husband have been together for years. And his family has never fully accepted me or it just feels that way. Any time we go around to his sisters house I always sense some kind of tension and or shadiness. I try so hard to be accepted but after awhile I just stop trying or caring. I love my husband and I would like to have a nice relationship with his family but it just seems impossible. Should I keep trying to be accepted or just forget it 🤔

I just feel like in laws get so much heat and shit. We get blamed for everything. We are expected to do everything. Me and my sister in law used to be best friends she was a SAHM for years she got a really good job and I was proud of her. Then out of no where we just stopped communicating. Not even a single text or phone call. And I get communication goes both ways. But why should only one person. Be putting in the effort.
