Medela? Spectra? Other?

Question

I had the medela freestyle with my son and after 7 years 5 of which it was not used, it's bitten the dust. I want to just replace it with the same but have heard a lot of buzz about spectra? What's your experience ?

yessss spectra!!! i love mine! get the s1 not the s2 because you can charge the s1 so that you can move around with it and have it where you don't have an outlet!

I've had both and prefer the Spectra.  It's way quieter and the suction seems stronger.  We were given a bookbag style diaper bag and I use that to carry it in with all the parts.  I bought a very inexpensive piece that allows me to still use all my Medela bottles to pump with and store.  Both of my kids have done the best using Medela bottles, so I'm glad to still be able to use them, even with the Spectra pump.
