My child is now 1 but weights 35 pounds hes a big boy he hates his infant car seat and crys , what car seat should he be in now because all the bigger ones are not rear facing?

35 lbs in an infant car seat????!!!!! How the f do u carry that thing around???? Convertible car seats rear face. We have britax marathon. My son is 2 1/2 and 95th perfentile for height and weight and he's stillnrear facing in it.

Several convertible car seats go up high with weight limits, and are rear facing....

Pretty sure most infant seats do not go up to a 35 pound weight limit. So check on that first! Then get a convertible seat. We will get the Nuna Rava. A bit spendy, but totally worth it.

We have a Safety First car seat that is rear facing, forward facing, then a booster. My son has been in it since 10 months old and is now 21 months and still rear facing.
