Is it ok I'm mad?

Question

Tomorrow is my husband's graduation and he wants to go with his friend and step dad fishing at 430am before we go to the graduation on top of the we move out of our house in 2 days and have a lot of packing to do and he knows I have major anxiety and can't be home alone when it's dark out. Can I be mad at him about this?

Ok, ok I'm really sorry but you can't use your anxiety as an excuse to control your SO. No, it's not right that your mad. You might be together but his life doesn't revolve around you all the time. Let the poor guy go fishing and enjoy himself.

Using your anxiety to make him stay home is manipulative and wrong. He worked hard to graduate. Let him celebrate how he would like. He deserves to do something that will make him happy. It's his day after all..

It's his celebration. If it were my husband I would think "he worked hard for this, it's his  day, and he can celebrate how he wants."

You can't control him. It's his day. Let him have it. No trying to be rude but have you Spoken to a doctor since you have it as bad as you say? It could help you a lot..

I bet you aren't mad so much as freaking out (I've been there more times than I can to recall). Try to relax. Pack, keep all the lights on, put on you favorite movie...you guys made it to graduation! You'll get through the move, and if you can cope you'll be stronger for it! Hang in there.

You can be mad if he can't help get everything done as far as moving. You can't be mad at him bc you have anxiety.

I understand you can't help your anxiety, but making him stay home isn't a healthy way to cope with it. I'm not trying to minimize mental illness, but you CAN stay home by yourself. You're an adult. I think if your anxiety is this severe, you should consider seeing a therapist. It's not healthy to hold your husband back from going fishing.
