Legs up in the air and not peeing after bd? How long? Is it an old wives tale? Does it help? Just curious.

My husband always puts a pillow under me were my back and butt is elevated for me and my husband makes it to we're I'm comfortable that I don't need to get up for anything till at least 30 mins to a hour has passed then that's when I go pee so I dont get a infection but my husband is the best he gets anything I need for me even if it's food or drink anything and trys to keep me comfortable cause it worked for us to conceive twice before once with twins and one single that we sadly lost by miscarriage at 3 weeks in to the pregnancy

I do keep my hips elevated for about 15 mins but you HAVE to pee afterwards. Very easy to get a urinary tract infection if you don't. I had one early TTC while in a TWW and the nurse practitioner prescribed me something a little less strong bc she said the antibiotic is made to attack anything foreign and she didn't want it to impact a possible pregnancy.

That's a good way to get an infection. Place a pillow under your backside after you BD and stay like that for 15 minutes but MAKE SURE YOU PEE. And good luck!

Ive heard both. I usually lay down for 10 mins. They say that sperm reaches its destination shortly after ejaculation but why help gravity pull them back down.
