8 days and counting...

So I was supposed to get my period last Saturday. That Friday I had my Pap smear and they took a pregnant test and it came out negative. But now I'm 8 days late. -_- and last months was 5 days late. So not sure if my body is out of wack. Or cuz I was currently very very sick. Fevers non stop since that Saturday I was suppose to get my period til this Wednesday. While I'm still a little sick, still no period. I will test next week by Wednesday if I'm still late but for now any thoughts??
